dead prez – Stimulus Plan (Produced By DJ Green Lantern)

It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from dead prez, perhaps too long. If you think about it…we went the whole election without one political song being testified by, the two members of dead prez, M1 and stic.man. During a time when hip-hop needs to be saved from the one syllable rhyme scheme rappers and unwitty writers, comes the next installment to the dead prez discography: Pulse Of The People (Turn Off The Radio Volume 3).

Pulse Of The People will be the third part of the Turn Off The Radio series that dead prez has been releasing over the past couple of years. This project is entirely hosted by DJ Green Lantern and features some of his exclusive beats that he laced for the RBG duo. This project will be released to the public June 23rd, which will be an appetizer to the main course that is to come, Information Age–the third studio album released by DP.

Isn’t it hard to believe that we’ll be getting two huge DP projects in one summer? I know it is for me. Information Age is supposed to be prolific according to the whispers that I’ve been hearing from the streets. However, M1 and stic.man were able to elaborate some about their new (official) mixtape and album in an interview they conducted with AllHipHop.com earlier this week (click here to read full interview).
