This review is horrible. They’re so many amazing artists out there that spend years writing excellent music struggling to get there name out there but instead society gives into this horrific offensive band with no talent what so ever. Anybody can fool around with GarageBand and make pathetic meaningless rants about boys, sex, and alcohol. Is that what our music culture has come to? What ever happen to passion and talent? If this is what sells I’m ashamed with mankind. There is no excuse for producing music like that. We need to open up our eyes and realize the strong negative influence on our society, especially to the vulnerable youth. You say in this review “don’t take it too seriously”. How can you sit back and think.. oh this is no big deal? This is SADDENING. They got signed to warped tour last year, think how many other bands could of taken that spot that actually HAVE TALENT and a meaning for producing songs. These are reasons why I avoid the mainstream music, it is all about the image, not the music OBVIOUSLY this band. If you want to make good reviews on music I would consider you figure out the difference between talent and absolute GARBAGE which is difficult for obviously.. Shame on all the narrow minded brainless people that think this shit is ok. There is GREAT dance electronica music out there JAMES so i would consider you to look them up and stop being ignorant thinking millionaries is a decent dance band. OPEN YOUR MIND!

Bad review. I hate the fact that “OMG THEY’RE NOT BEING SERIOUS” as an excuse for this horrendous EP. There are many bands who crafted hilarious records with competence.

Their music is terrible. There’s really nothing left to say. Being bad on purpose doesn’t excuse it from being bad. If I wanted dance music, there’s classics like new order to dance to. Why would I want to dance to this?

Those who enjoy it musically, I simply pity your taste in music. It’s hilarious and watching their videos always give me a good chuckle but that’s all they are. A sad pathetic joke being clowns to garner attention and attract idiots to be their fans.

I first heard “The Millionaires” in a montage of scene queens that my friend was showing me explaining what “scene” was. It was a version of Talk Shit that was made on garage band and had the background of someone’s kid screaming in the background. I thought it was somewhat obnoxious at first, but I was drawn to it all the same. Then when they released “Bling Bling Bling” I was one of the first to buy it.
The reason I love them so much is because they don’t take themselves that seriously. I think UTG hit them spot on about their music instead of just saying “They suck”.
I hope to see Millionaires around.

Lost all respect and credibility I had for site from this review. This stuff is absolute garbage. They’re a prime example of what’s wrong with music today. Pathetic lyrics, no musical talent, they lip sing live, and have annoying voices. Ha “makes me want to dance” more like makes me want to puke.

Good lord. No wonder Decaydance didn’t sign them on a full contract.

Now I know why Pete basically washed his hands of all this via Twitter.

These girls are pitiful, drunken, whorish scene kid wannabes who are using the look to reel people in when they’re nothing even remotely close to it. They sound like barbies in a garbage disposal.

Saying words to a beat does NOT by any means make it music. Especially if it’s the type of torturous screeching i’ve been assaulted with on Youtube.

I can proudly say I’m on the haters list, Millionaires. Because you sound AWFUL.

I get that this isn’t music that is meant to be taken seriously, and I can get behind music like that (hello, Cobra Starship), but I cannot listen to these girls because their voices are so off putting and annoying. That’s what makes them cross the line from musically mediocre to absofuckinglutly awful

from the moment i first listened to their just newly birthed demos, i liked them – no lie there. i’m split with music, i have a thing for lyrics, meaning, and soul. but then again, i also just love the funny shit you can just let loose listening to – like MILLIONAIRES. it’s not really right to say they’re “amazing”, because they’re not. their fame is a fluke of luck, they should be thankful their generation of listeners is as corrupt as they are, or they’d have no fanbase.
point is, they’re good if you just want to laugh and have a good time. if you take their shit literally, it’s hell.
