A Fine Frenzy, aka Alison Sudol and whatever group of people are backing her up that day, burst onto the music scene not too long ago with the haunting hit, “Almost Lover.” She was applauded critically and publicly for her beautiful vocals and the accompanying music composition and now, on September 8th, 2009, we get 11 BRAND NEW tracks in the form of a new album entitled A Bomb In A Birdcage.
If you go to the group’s Myspace and listen to the new song, “Blown Away,” it will be no surprise why that’s the record title as the once haunting Sudol has taken a heavy dosage of pop and injected it into her music. It sounds beautiful and reminds you of the final moments of Summer, just as the leaves begin to change.
