Laura No your eyes aren’t deceiving you, Matt Skiba announced late last week that he will be hitting the studio late this month to record a solo record. Here’s what he posted on myspace:
‘So it is definitely happening. I will be recording a new solo album at the end of August. Not sure of a release date yet, but it’s happening. Asian Man Records will be releasing the new record. It’s nice to be back with family.’
This will be Skiba’s first full solo record. Prior to this he had only released a 7” split with Kevin Seconds.
