As previously reported, The Long Count is a multimedia piece by the National guitarists Aaron and Bryce Dessner and visual artist Matthew Ritchie, featuring vocals from the Breeders’ Kim and Kelley Deal, My Brightest Diamond’s Shara Worden, and the National’s own Matt Berninger. The mind-bending project hits the Brooklyn Academy of Music October 28, 30, and 31.

As an appetizer, check out a live version of the Long Count song “Bull Run”, which features vocals from Kelley Deal. It was recorded at the University of Illinois’ Krannert Center last month. A teaser trailer for the show can be viewed on Ritchie’s site.
