Lil’ Wayne to drop 2 albums before ’10

Cash Money Records CEO Birdman spoke exclusively to MTV.co.uk this week, revealing Lil Wayne’s album plans for 2009. And in a change to expected plans, it seems both Tha Carter 4 and The Rebirth are due to drop this year, as Birdman explained:

“Tha Carter 4 is out December 15th, we won’t release The Rebirth as a double CD like people are saying. Both will be out before 2010. We’re looking to take over the game completely, flood the market. The Grammy’s are ours next year.”

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter 4 – the follow up to the multi-platinum selling Tha Carter 3 – is one of the most earergly awaited albums in Hip-Hop. Birdman also commented on Weezy’s stature in the game;

“Wayne is the best. He just the best, there’s nobody better, we make the most money and have the most hits.”

Ok, calm down Birdman.
