Tom DeLonge is Going in for Surgery Again

Blink-182 guitarist/vocalist and Angels & Airwaves frontman has revealed that he’s considering going under the knife for the second time to fix his ailing back. DeLonge originally suffered a slipped disc in his back in 2001, forcing Blink to cancel a planned tour of the U.K. He had surgery before the band embarked on the 2002 Pop Disaster Tour with Green Day.

DeLonge recently posted, “I am in the worst pain since my surgery. Welcome to my problems. Just as I need to finish my album and a major motion picture, I am crippled with back pain. Operation #2 is now in sight. Send me good energy. I can’t even walk to my car.”

The movie that DeLonge refers to is the long-awaited Angels & Airwaves motion picture, Love, which DeLonge promises we’ll see a new trailer for later this week.
