In April, Kill Rock Stars are set to reissue Elliott Smith’s debut album Roman Candle as well as posthumous release From a Basement on the Hill. To celebrate the reissues, ThinkIndie is offering a free download of “Cecilia/Amanda,” a previously unreleased track written by Smith’s high school band Stranger Than Fiction. The track was rerecorded by Smith in 1997 at Jackpot! Recording Studios with producer Larry Crane, who also worked on the Roman Candle reissue.
