Deftones new album coming soon

Vocalist Chino Moreno revealed in a recent interview that the upcoming Deftones full-length will be released April 27, and that it will be reminiscent of the band’s 1997 album, Around The Fur, and 2000’s White Pony.

Deftones had already recorded an entire album tentatively titled Eros but decided to hold off on releasing those songs after a Nov. 2008 car accident left bassist Chi Cheng in a coma. The band recruited bassist Sergio Vega to help record a new album with producer Nick Raskulinecz. Moreno says, “I honestly think it’s one of the best, if not the best record we’ve ever done.”
