Shawty Redd arrested for murder!

Super producer and Grammy award winner Shawty Redd has been arrested on murder charges. The A-Town producer is currently being held and waiting for his arraignment which is scheduled for sometime today (Saturday Jan 2nd).

It is said that the fatal shooting took place after Redd was involved in an altercation, in which he and another man began to argue. Shawty Redd says the victim threatened to kill him which led to him retrieve his gun and fatally wound the unidentified victim.

Shawty Redd has claimed self defense, as he feared for his life which led to him surrendering himself to the Henry County Police Department outside of Atlanta.

Redd is best known for producing hits, such as Snoop’s Sexual Seduction, and an multiple Young Jeezy tracks including, Trap or Die, Air Forces, and Who Dat.
