Interpol to Tour With U2

When U2 continue their 360° tour this summer, they’ll bring along fellow rock dino Lenny Kravitz, Coldplay, the Fray, and brooding New York rockers Interpol. After a solo turn from singer Paul Banks as well as various side projects, it looks like Interpol are solidifying a comeback this year– their website currently reads INTERPOL 2010. They know what year it is.

Back in November, Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino said the band recorded a new album last spring and that it sounds more like their stunning debut LP Turn on the Bright Lights and less like their 2007 shit sandwich Our Love to Admire. Smart.
