Seventeen artists including Wilco, My Morning Jacket, Death Cab for Cutie, and the Decemberists are giving away free tracks recorded live at Bonnaroo for a new compilation called The Best of Bonnaroo.
The download is being offered by Bonnaroo, voter registration organization HeadCount, and the environmentally activist group the NRDC Action Fund in hopes of helping to pass upcoming climate change legislation in the U.S. Senate. When you sign up for the compilation, you can also send an original or pre-written e-mail to your Senator, the President, or a local paper in support of the climate change bill.
