American Voodoo Records Launch New Website

A mere few weeks removed from inking a deal with EMI Label Services, Jim Kaufman’s American Voodoo Records is extremely proud to launch its brand new, comprehensive, state of the art website online at www.americanvoodoorecords.com. The site features detailed artist pages, news updates, event listings, staff bios and all new media (audio and video) spanning the entire roster. However, the most in-depth section of the site has to be the virtual tour of Kaufman’s impressive Laurel Canyon Studios where all of the American Voodoo releases were tracked.

Acclaimed producer Jim Kaufman is also excited to announce the signing of Hellflower; featuring Jane’s Addiction legendary drummer Stephen Perkins. Kaufman will be tracking drums with Perkins in Studio A from March 15th through the 17th. Mikey Doling (ex-Snot guitarist) will also be mixing his newest recording project, The Gemini Syndrome, in Studio A later this month.

Kaufman further states: “I am very excited to get the opportunity to work with Stephen Perkins and Hellflower. Drum recordings have always been my specialty and my favorite part of producing. Collaborating with an icon, such as Perkins, is a dream come true for me.

“The new label website will provide a very unique inside view of what happens daily at the American Voodoo label and studios.  Jason Lee and his team from B.S.S. are true professionals and the websites they have created for our company are cutting edge and top of the line.

“Gemini Syndrome is an exciting new project and we are happy to have the opportunity to have their debut record mixed at our facility. I have always been a fan of Mikey Doling’s work and look forward to working with him at the American Voodoo studios.”

American Voodoo prides itself on finding the best new talent across multiple genres with a strong focus on artist development. The additions of Hellflower to the label further cements this statement as American Voodoo begins to carve out its unique niche throughout the world.
