Crystal Castles Headline HARD Tour

The folks behind the HARD Fest have been throwing gigantic dance music events in L.A. for a while, and now they’re taking their show on the road. They’ve got themselves a very serious headliner for the first ever HARD Summer Tour: Toronto electro destroyers Crystal Castles, whose live show is fucking intense. The tour will cross North America this summer. Mad Decent dubstep guy Rusko, British producer Sinden, and HARD founder Destructo round out the bill.

The second show on the tour is HARD Summer Music Festival in Los Angeles. That show will feature all the acts on the tour, as well as folks like Soulwax, Diplo, Tiga, Digitalism, and Green Velvet.

As previously reported, M.I.A. will also headline a pair of big HARD shows in New York and L.A. this summer. First, she’ll come to Los Angeles State Historic Park on July 17. Theophilus London, Rye Rye, Gaslamp Killer, Ninjasonik, Nguzunguzu, Destructo, and others will open. And on July 24, she’ll come to South Island Field on New York’s Governor’s Island. Sleigh Bells, Theophilus London, Skream, Benga, Ninjasonik, 12th Planet, Nguzunguzu, Borgore, Destructo, and others will join her.

As for Crystal Castles, they’ll release a brand new single called “Doe Deer” on Record Store Day, and they’ve got a mysterious new album coming out, possibly as soon as June. They’ll also play shows in North America and Europe this month.
