The Devil Wears Prada Announce New Tour To Play Songs From “Dear Love” Album

The Devil Wears Prada have revealed exclusively to Altpress.com that in addition to appearances at several huge festivals like Cornerstone, they’ll also be headlining an intimate club tour called “Back To The Roots” (presented by Rockstar Energy Drink) which will take TDWP to small venues and clubs Miss May I and Your Demise will join the band for the club tour, which kicks off June 28 with two shows at the Basement in Columbus, Ohio, followed by more than 40 shows like it through the end of August.

Vocalist Mike Hranica said, “One of the primary elements of the Back To The Roots Tour is playing a few [songs from TDWP’s 2006 debut, Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord] that we have not played in a long time, and probably will not play again or anytime soon. We have not built the precise setlist yet, and I know it will not entirely be composed of older Dear Love songs, but there will definitely be more in there than we usually do.”

Tickets for the tour go on sale April 10 on the band’s website.

In addition, TDWP will be playing several summer festivals including the Cornerstone Festival on July 3, the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan and Revelation Generation in September.
