Bret Michaels in stable condition after brain hemorrhage

TMZ.com has reported that Ambre Lake, season 2 winner of Rock Of Love, says she’s spoken with people close to Michaels who say he’s conscious and in stable condition. Another contestant from the show said that members of Poison have said the same.

Michaels will be under close observation during the next 48 hours.

Poison frontman and reality TV star Bret Michaels is reportedly in critical condition after sustaining a brain hemorrhage Thursday night. Michaels, 47, was rushed to a hospital after complaining of an excruciating headache and doctors performed several CAT scans, MRIs and an aniogram before keeping him in the ICU.

Michaels had an emergency appendectomy in San Antonio, Texas, on April 12. No statement has been released linking the procedure with Michaels’ current situation. The news comes less than a week after You Say Party! We Say Die! drummer Devon Clifford died after suffering from a brain hemorrhage onstage.

Michaels has fronted Poison since 1983 and achieved success on television with the reality shows Rock Of Love with Bret Michaels and Celebrity Apprentice 3.

  2. The latest is that Bret is back in the hospital from “warning stroke”. Whoa, I hope the best for him and the family and hope he recovers well.
