In his survey of this year’s Coachella, Pitchfork’s Ian Cohen wrote: “Surely, Passion Pit is still getting used to venues this big, but they’re planning for a future where this is the norm.” The words are sounding prophetic as Passion Pit announce eight fall dates opening for laser gurus Muse in arenas across the United States. They’ll also play to a decent-sized crowd at the big time Earth Day rally on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. this Sunday, April 25.
