The endlessly fascinating YouTube-friendly South African zef sensations Die Antwoord have signed to Interscope, as reported by BoingBoing in March and now confirmed by the band. On his Twitter, group leader Ninja posted the following riddle: “Guess what DRE DRE, SNOOP DOGG, 2PAC, EMINEM, 50CENT, MARILYN MANSON and DIE ANTWOORD have in common?”

A video posted on their site (which is also embedded below) includes the message “23 TRACK $O$ ALBUM DROPPING FOKKEN SOON ON INTERSCOPE RECORDS JOU FOKKEN NAAI!”. Oh yeah, the video also features Ninja getting a gigantic tattoo on his back of a yin-yang and two dollar signs made out of snakes with ninja swords through them. Pretty incredible, obviously.

Die Antwoord started their American takeover last month with a set at Coachella. They’ll also play two HARD Fest shows opening for M.I.A., who is also on Interscope: July 17 at L.A. Historic State Park and July 24 at New York’s Governor’s Island.
