All Time Low Banned From San Antonio Six Flags

All Time Low were banned from playing at the San Antonio stop on their current Bamboozle Road Show tour over the weekend. The venue, a Six Flags, took the band off the bill on Sunday night after All Time Low was outspoken about their anger about several fans being maced during their set the night before at a Dallas Six Flags. According to singer Alex Gaskarth, who tweeted about the incident numerous times over the weekend, the San Antonio amusement park banned All Time Low from playing but told the public the band had actually dropped off the bill of their own accord.

Gaskarth Tweeted on Sunday, “All Time Low won’t be performing tonight. We showed up– Banned because I stood up for our fans who were victimized by security last night. And now they’re telling the public that -WE- dropped off the show? Unbelievable. We were told that we ‘aren’t allowed to perform.’ So to all the folks coming to see us tonight, I’m deeply, deeply sorry; This was not our call.”

The details of the macing incident on Saturday in Dallas are unclear, but fan reports allege that security officers at the park maced several fans who tried to go onstage with the band. Martin Johnson, singer for Boys Like Girls, who are also on the tour, Tweeted, “you mace our fans you fucking die. bands locked on buses for defending helpless fans getting MACED for having a great time at a rock show. i dare security to come backstage.” That helpful little quip has since been removed from Johnson’s Twitter, probably since he apparently also posted the name of the officer he believed was in the wrong.

Gaskarth criticized Six Flags for their handling of both evening’s circumstances, posting, “Its disgusting to see that a family oriented theme park covers up their flubs by shifting the blame and hiding behind shoddy excuses. Big thanks to the park for not only condoning the macing of kids at an all ages show, but also for fabricating stories in order to ban us. I sincerely hope that kharma catches up to these degenerate liars. For clarification, we have been asked not to perform at the 6Flags San Antonio show tonight. I’m sincerely sorry to anyone hoping to see us.”

No word yet on whether All Time Low will be banned from other Six Flags parks on their tour. Check out a fan video of the whole thing going down below.
