Although Thank Me Later has yet to even hit stores, Drake has altready begun thinking about his sophomore release.
“Hip Hop is all about moments,” said Drake in an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “You look at people who were hot three or four years ago who are sitting around reminiscing. It’s fickle. It’s a game of moments. I’m the moment right now.”
As such, the rapper is reportedly thinking of titling his next album Moments.
Despite the talk of the future release, Drake is still focused on the present – which includes improving his craft as an emcee.
“I don’t feel like I’m a great rapper right now,” said the rapper, who referred to himself as “Last name ‘Ever,’ first name ‘Greatest'” on the song “Forever.”
“I feel I’m good at what I do. But I want to be — if not the best — I want to reach my personal best. I just want to be better, man. That’s all.”
