Rufio were involved in a highway accident last night leaving their RV cut in two. According to a statement released on behalf of the band, the Rancho Cucamonga, California, four-piece were driving last night in Nevada when a driver in another vehicle fell asleep at the wheel and sideswiped the band’s RV, slicing it. The members of Rufio suffered bruises and cuts but have all been released from the hospital. A member of their crew, however, remains hospitalized with a damaged spleen. The driver of the other vehicle is on life support.

Rufio will take a few weeks to recover from their injuries and have canceled shows this week in Pocatello, Idaho, and Anaheim, California. They will still play their June 29 show with Taking Back Sunday at the Wiltern in Los Angeles.
