It’s hard to believe that is the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death. Last year you may remember the news overtook Twitter with 5,000 posts per minute about the King Of Pop’s passing and while things weren’t that overwhelming today, plenty of artists took to the Internet to pay tribute to arguably the most influential performer of our generation. Below are five of the some of the most notable shout-outs.
B.O.B.: “They need to go ahead and make today a holiday for MJ.”
Mariah Carey: “Watching ‘You are not alone’..Love and Prayers to MJ ‘King of Pop’. You will be remembered forever. We miss you.”
Justin Bieber: “1 year ago 2day we lost the greatest entertainer that was and will ever be…Michael Jackson…he will be missed but never forgotten. RIP MJ”
Orianthi: “Cant believe its been a year,Michael u are very missed, wish u were still here, will ALWAYS remember your beautiful spirit-all for L.O.V.E”
Drake: “When he passed, I was in Toronto. It was weird. It was somebody that you just don’t picture not being here. It’s Mike, you know?”

Michael was truly our icon. It’s really sad that we will never see this great superstar ever again. My prayers go out to his children on this one year anniversary of his death. I hope the person that took Michael away from us gets what’s coming to him.
