Weed-rap all-star Kid Cudi is less than a year removed from his debut Man on the Moon: The End of Day, and already he’s getting ready to drop the follow-up. According to Rap-Up, G.O.O.D. Music/Universal Motown will release Man on the Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager on October 26. And for the past few months, songs possibly intended for the album have been steadily leaking out.
This weekend, two new tracks hit the internet: The zoned-out synth warble “Mr. Rager” and the chilly, minimal “Wylin‘ Cuz I’m Young”, which features a nasty tossed-off guest verse from Cudi’s G.O.O.D. label boss Kanye West. Hear them both here, via Nah Right.
Mr. West also shows up on another recent-ish leak, the Duran Duran-jacking “Erase Me”; that one is here via Nah Right. And Nah Right also has links to two more new ones: the sing-songy “Mojo So Dope” and the piano-laced “REVOFEV“.
