Chicago underground legends Smoking Popes will play a Secret Show in anticipation of this year’s Riot Fest, which runs from Oct. 6-10 in various venues in Chicago. Smoking Popes will headline AAA (2105 W. Caton) in Chicago on Friday, Oct. 1, at 7:30 p.m. before the fest’s kick-off the following week.

Attendance to the 21+ show is limited to invite only; all 3-Day and 5-day pass holders will be randomly chosen via e-mail to attend this exclusive pre-Riot Fest Secret Show. However, all 3-Day and 5-Day pass holders are guaranteed admission to the four Secret Shows happening between Oct. 6-10 during Riot Fest. Stay tuned to Altpress.com for all the Riot Fest 2010 Exclusive Festival and Secret Show announcements and news coming next week.
