Band of Horses cover Cee-Lo

Back in July, Cee-Lo unexpectedly covered Band of Horses’ track “No One’s Gonna Love You.” Band of Horses has now returned the favor with their own version of Cee-Lo’s “Georgia”. Featured on this track are the University of Georgia’s Redcoat Marching Band. The song can be downloaded here, at Band of Horses’ site and is also available on 7″, with Cee-Lo’s cover as a B-side. Bridwell, from Band of Horses, explains that he decided to cover the song to pay tribute to the Georgia Bulldogs, his favorite team.”Once I heard Cee-Lo’s ‘Georgia,’ I was immediately smitten and figured that’s as good as any tribute to any state I’ve ever heard,” Bridwell said in a statement. “It wasn’t until I heard his cover of our song though that it occurred to me: Duh, we should return the favor.“
