Just shy of his 29th birthday, one of the most beloved singers of the twin cities, Michael “Eyedea” Larsen has passed away. Michael Larsen passed away early in the morning on Sunday October 17th, 2010. Larsen was not only a singer but also a lyricist and fixture in the indie hip-hop scene. The news of Larsen’s death was confirmed by his mother. There has been no information regarding the cause that led to the tragic death of Larsen. Presently, in memory of her son,his mother has created a memorial fundraiser via Facebook. UTG offers our condolences and wishes the best for family, fans, and friends of Michael “Eyedea” Larsen.
