Foundation announces European tour

Fresh out of the studio, Foundation have announced their most recent album will be titled When The Smoke Clears and is set to be released on April 19th via Bridge Nine Records. European tour dates with support from Bracewar and Braking point are listed after the jump.

Katy Perry announces North American tour

Katy Perry announced that she will be touring the US and Canada this summer. Tickets will be available for presale this Friday, January 21. Click through the jump for a list of the tour dates.

Johnny Marr offered book deal

According to his Twitter, Johnny Marr (The Cribs, The Smiths, and more) has been offered a book deal. Marr noted that this will mean less songs, but I think I speak for everyone when I say the untold tales of this legend will be well worth it.

Rise Records announces three disc Piebald LP

According to their latest Facebook update, Rise Records are currently finalizing a 3xLP Triple Gatefold Vinyl release from Piebald. The release, which will be limited to 1000 copies, will hit stores on April 16 (Record Store Day).

Title Fight complete album & sign

Title Fight have completed their upcoming album, which has been revealed to be their debut release for Side One Dummy Records. While no date has been given, multiple sources are saying the album will be released in late Spring. Stay tuned to UTG for more details as they’re released.

The Spill Canvas announce hiatus

It’s a very sad day around the UTG offices as The Spill Canvas have announced they are on hiatus until further notice. While no direct statement has been released, drummer Joe Black recently informed fans of the decision via Facebook.
