Runner Runner the first band to sign to David Letterman’s new label

Altpress can exclusively reveal that former AP&R band Runner Runner will release their upcoming debut through a partnership with EMI’s Capitol Records, Clear Entertainment/C.E. Music and MRV. They’re the first band on Clear Entertainment/C.E. Music, the new label formed by David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants Inc.

Runner Runner–featuring former members of Rufio, Over It and Don’t Look Down–are recording their self-titled debut full-length in Los Angeles with producer Dave Darling and it will be the flagship release for C.E. in partnership with Capitol and MRV. The first single, “So Obvious,” hits radio on June 15 and the album will be released later in the summer.
