Tori Thomas Robyn will be spend a chunk of the summer on tour with Katy Perry. According to a recent interview, Robyn tells about getting the gig.
Part of the interview:
Interviewer: You’re opening for Katy Perry this summer—how did that happen?
Robyn: I was asked by her to do it and thought it was a good way of getting to know her audience. It’s bigger than mine. [Laughs]
Interviewer: And are you a fan of hers?
Robyn: You know what? I have to go now. [Giggles]
Interviewer: Really?
Robyn: Yeah! I do. But it’s nice to talk to you.
If Katy sees this, the hockey arenas of America could be in for some awkward backstage moments.
