James Shotwell AltPress has revealed that Emarosa have parted ways with vocalist Jonny Craig. You can read a statement from the band addressing the situation below. Emarosa WILL NOT be breaking up and still plan on performing at this year’s Bamboozle festival in New Jersey. No word yet on a replacement.
“As of today, Jonny Craig is no longer a member of Emarosa. This decision has been a hard one to make, but we feel it is in the best interest for the band going forward.”
What do you think of this news? It is unclear whether or not the situation has anything to do with Craig’s self-destructive behavior over the past few months, but we will be sure to keep you updated as more information becomes available.

It’s because of touring with Dance Gavin Dance and him canceling a lot of things with them, I think he is much better of with Dance Gavin Dance and he looks genuinely happy with them and his girl. I never really like Emarosa anyways, only listened to them so I could hear Jonny while he was kicked out of DGD. I don’t even know the names of the other guys, sucks for them.
johnny sucked anyway. he can go do heroin with dgd and sell more macbooks

im actually listening to the man right now might I add. Doesnt matter if hes in DGD, Emarosa, Isles & Glaciers, or by him self. His voice is amazing, I love him. As for the Macbook jokes, those people shoulda went to Apple!
