Weird Al has released his would-be latest single and the target couldn’t be more fitting. Al had originally planned to release “Perform This Way,” and obvious and fitting ode to Lady Gaga, in conjunction with his upcoming album, but has now posted it online by itself following a denial from Gaga for Al to use the song on his latest album. Technically, Al is still allowed to release the song, but has a policy against releasing material commercially that isn’t cleared by the original talent.
