The Offspring have been hard at work, recording their NINTH album, and are pretty close to finishing it! A message from the band can be read below.

“There’s still a lot to be done but we hope to finish it up really quickly and I think we will as we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.. I think we are about 12 or 13 songs in. They probably won’t all go on the record but we have some good stuff. It’s going to be great and it’s going to be the best damn record we ever did. “You know what’s a really good sign? When you are working on a song and going ‘I really want this to be a hit.’ When you play it for a niece or nephew, or a young kid, preferably about five and if it sticks with that kid and you hear them humming it later in the day. But if they don’t do it right away, the tendency is you play it to them 10 times in a row and play a couple of songs and see what sticks We’re not finished yet but we’ve looked at the whole of what we have and I’m really stoked as there is some great stuff there.”
