James Shotwell Goth lovers rejoice! The film adaptation of Edgar Allen Poe’s timeless work, The Raven, is in the midst of production as we speak (well, read)! This morning, the first image from the set, featuring star John Cusack as Edgar Allen Poe, hit the net. You can view the image and find additional info on the film below:
THE PLOT: In the gritty thriller, Edgar Allen Poe joins forces with a young Baltimore detective (Luke Evans) to hunt down a mad serial killer who’s using Poe’s own works as the basis in a string of brutal murders. Directed by James McTeigue (V For Vendetta), the film also stars Alice Eve, Brendan Gleeson and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
