Jacob Tender Yes, the Westboro Babtist Church has announced that they will be picketing the July 7th Vans Warped Tour Date in Noblesville, Indiana. Here is what they had to say on their website:
WBC will picket those attending the Vans Warped Tour of perverts to warn them to flee the wrath to come. “We Are Warped” is perfect for this last generation of Doomed americans who have been taught from birth that God is a liar.
There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother. There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men. (Pr. 30:11-14.)
That passage fairly destribes this generation – you think it’s all about you all day, every day. With destruction all around you no hope in this life or the next, you go party all day and listen to mind-numbing “music”.
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. (Rev. 6:5-6.)
Wake up! The Avenger is on the move, marching through this land. Stop your proud sinning and OBEY GOD! If there is a soul in the area that has any fear of God before your eyes, listen and heed this warning! Stop spending every minute chasing and serving your lusts. Strive to live soberly, righteously and godly TODAY! Thanks for coming to our picket.

Oh yeah, a tour that supports TWOLA, Invisible Children, awesome charities, and hosts some really kind bands, is “perverse”. Just goes to show what a disturbed church this is.
