The Maine have released the second installment of their documentary, The Making Of Black And White.
The video, which you can view below, follows the creation and promotion of The Maine’s latest album, Black And White.
There may be little value to this video for people who are not already fans of The Maine, but it does continue the band’s intriguingly deep promotion for the record. Where many artist release an album, then tour, and slowly turn away from pushing the record in lieu of pushing attendance, The Maine have chosen to keep their record front and center, yet continued to sell out shows across the planet.
Do you think this marketing approach would work for every band? Are The Maine special? Are we just crazy and praising them more than they deserve? Comment below and let us know!
