Alternative Press has partnered with Madina Lake to premiere the first song off their upcoming album, World War III. Click here to stream the song, which is entitled “Hey Superstar.”

Here’s what frontman Nathan Leone had to say about the track:

“It feels like everything is becoming completely plastic and contrived lately. From cosmetic adjustments like Botox to technological ‘fixes’ like Photoshop, Auto-Tune, etc., there’s this implication that to be accepted you have to be anything but yourself. That’s way too much pressure. I think most people are pretty kickass just as they are, and removing that pressure would probably lead to a much happier life. ‘Hey Superstar’ is a sentiment to the ‘perfect’ people that the rest of us are just fine, thanks.”
