Drake cosigns Kreayshawn, we facepalm

These days, you can rise to notoriety in the music industry by not only being talented, but also understanding iMovie. Kreayshawn, the tiny, foul-mouthed female rapper behind the Youtube/viral sensation (whatever that means anymore) “Gucci Gucci” has just received another helping of celebrity support, this time from UTG favorite Drake.

Drake called into DJ Green Lantern’s “Invasion Radio” show on Sirius Satellite on Monday to offer a surprise endorsement to Kreayshawn, who reportedly signed to Columbia for a cool $1 million:

“I honestly get excited when new things happen in hip-hop and when I heard ‘Gucci Gucci,’ I heard the flows, I was excited before I even knew who she was. And you know I got to hear a little bit more of the music beyond that and then to meet her and the energy that she has is great. She’s just a great person. She’s good people. That’s my dog.”

Drake also hinted at a desire to collaborate, but no further details were discussed.

This news comes days after Lil Wayne, or as we can refer to him here, the man behind Drake, sampled “Gucci Gucci” on his Sorry For The Wait mixtape. Could Kreayshawn be YMCMB in training? Would you be okay with that? Comment below and let us know!
