Comic Con San Diego hasn’t even been underway a full twelve hours and an already one of the year’s most exciting horror entries has a new development. Apparently, attendees to the Con were given flyers for a new business, Darren’s Timeless Memories, which will convert VHS and BETA into digital files. However, when attendees visited Darren’s site, what they actually discovered was the viral trailer for Paranormal Activity 3. View the trailer below and read on for additional details and insight:

As you can see in the trailer, this sequel is actually a prequel and takes place in 1988 during the events the sisters were unable to remember in the original films.

I really wanted to be letdown by this trailer. I don’t know why, but something told me the time had come to call it quits after number two. However, having seen this trailer, I’m so in it’s disgusting. Bloody Mary? Are you freaking kidding me? Ticket = sold.
