You knew there had to be more t the promotional efforts for Watch The Throne than “Otis,” right? the only way Jay-Z and Kanye know to promote anything as large and out of this world as possible. They thrive of extravagance and what could be more ego-filling and self-promotional than an inside look at an album that has been delayed almost more often than Tha Carter IV.

Okay, maybe I’m being a little harsh on the dynamic duo. Just like everyone else, I’m excited to see how they can step up their game collectively on this record and what it could mean for hip hop as a whole. That said, I do think what you’re about to see is almost as self-indulgent as you can get.

Watch The Throne drops August 1. Then, if I remember “H.A.M.” correctly, some people may kill themselves.
