50 Cent Cancels Album, Blames Label, & Promises To LEAK Dr. Dre’s Next Single

50 Cent broke the news via Twitter this morning that his forthcoming album, Black Magic would no longer be coming out as planned. According to his tweets (read them below), Curtis blames poor handling by Interscope for the fallout, but little information is given.

The most interesting part of this story though, is what followed after the announcement. Instead of, say, leaking the record the label refuses to put out, 50 announced he will be leaking Dr. Dre’s new single tomorrow WITHOUT label consent. Why is he doing this? Well, ” I just don’t think it deserves a great set up sense they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.”

Here are the tweets:

Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans. I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time to many.

I LOVE DRE but I’m putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00. Your gonna love it its a big song I just don’t think it deserves a great set up sense they can’t seem to get it right when it comes to me.

Grow up 50. You made $400 million from Vitamin Water. YOU DO NOT NEED A LABEL. You could buy the music industry. Figure out another way and do it.
