When people die, we remember them. For some, that means looking at pictures, others video, and still others, especially when it’s a celebrity-related death, need to spend to feel better. Need proof? Amy Winehouse’s death, though some may try and claim was eventual, shocked the world this weekend and as a result, album sales are up.
As further proof of how low regular music sales are, Back To Black re-entered the Billboard 200 albums chart this week at #9, selling over 37,000 units. This marks a 3100% increase in sales from the previous week. Coincidence? Probably not.
Rest in peace Amy, your talent will live on.
