James Shotwell Superman Returns was much less eventful than the title lead moviegoers to believe. Though it cost hundreds of millions, Brett Ratner simply couldn’t capture the world of Clark Kent in a way audiences connected with and it ultimately lead for the film to be as empty as the grand canyon.
Recently, the following clip made its way online and we’re willing to bet it may have helped the movie. Reportedly costing $10 million to create, here is original opening for Superman Returns (which some are calling “Return To Krypton”).
