Unless you were up at midnight attempting to buy tickets, you may have noticed people aren’t running the streets demanding tickets to the upcoming Watch The Throne tour with Jay-Z and Kanye West. Well, it isn’t because people don’t care. On the contrary, demand was so overwhelming by the time I got into the office this morning (roughly 7AM EST) that all sales had already been suspended.
According to a post on the official LiveNation page for the tour, the high demand early this morning has lead the duo to expand upon their previously announced tour dates. As a result, presales won’t begin offically until August 2 (the day after the album drops). General ticket sales will begin August 8 as planned.
We knew The Throne were the hot duo of the Summer, but just how big will this record be? Comment below with your thoughts!
