Country music is a funny thing. Generally speaking, the most conservative Americans are the biggest fans of this genre, yet their songs are often more tongue-in-cheek than anything mainstream rock or pop releases.

I’m not what you’d call a fan of country music, but I do have multiple artists in the genre that I respect and listen to often. Of those, Eric Church has to be the most unique and original. After breaking onto the mainstream with “Drink A Little Drink” and his gigantic debut album, Church returns this year with a new record entitled Chief. “I’m Getting Stoned” is a song off Chief and one we couldn’t resist sharing with all of you.

Even if you hate country, give this one a shot. It’s fun, catchy, and not anything like what your parents would consider “real country.”
