Hawthorne Heights have left Wind-Up records and announced the launch of their own label, Cardboard Empire. The group’s first release under the label will be a new self-produced EP entitled Hate (August 23).
Anyone familiar with Hawthorne Heights knows this isn’t the first time the band has found themselves cutting ties from the record industry. They previously put out multiple records with Victory Records before leaving over money and creative issues.
