James Shotwell Weird Al has had a storied live show for over a decade, but even as I write this those hoping to see Al’s performance without buying a ticket will be stuck using YouTube for happiness. You see, the king of all things parody has preferred to keep the magic of his live experience under wraps all these years, but things will soon change when Comedy Central releases Weird Al’ Yankovic Live! – The Alpocalypse Tour later this year.
That’s right, Weird Al’s first LIVE release is coming to DVD/Blu-eay and basic cable near you. You can see the premiere of the special October 1 at 9pm EST or wait and purchase a copy October 4. Either way, PLEASE support this talented and hilarious artist.
