Nicki Minaj’s latest single “Super Bass” has helped the 26-year-old artist continue to make chart-topping history. Recently, it was dubbed the highest-ranking song by a female rapper on the Billboard Top 100 charts in almost ten years.
“Super Bass” was, according to Billboard, ranked at the No. 3 spot this week, making her the first female rapper to make it into one of the top three positions without the aid of a featured guest since Missy Elliott’s 2002 hit, “Work.”
So far, “Super Bass” has sold 19 million copies, making it the year’s 21st-biggest overall seller.
