Jani Lane autopsy inconclusive

After Jani Lane’s sudden death, the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office reports that his autopsy was inconclusive. Ed Winter, Assistant Chief Coroner, says that it may take seven to eight weeks to finalize the cause of death.

Lane’s death is currently being treated as an accidental overdose or a death from natural causes.

Yesterday, the members of Warrant took to their YouTube page to speak about Lane. Along with a tribute video, they also added this statement:

“We are deeply saddened to hear the news of Jani’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Jani was a very important part of our lives for a long time. We will always be incredibly proud of the music we created together.

He was a true talent and will be missed by all of us.”
