According to a tweet from progressive indie rock band Fang Island, they got in the studio today to start recording their sophomore record. Their self-titled debut album on Sargent House records was released in February 2010.
Fang Island describes its sound as “everyone high-fiving everyone.” The band originally began as an art school project but quickly grew into a system with a common goal which according to guitarist Jason Bartell, is to “make music for people who like music.”
Below, you can read the tweet they posted today and view their music video for “Daisy” off their self-titled debut.
GOOD PEOPLE! Today is our first day in the studio recording our new album!
