Soundwave Revolution announce Mini-Fests

As many know, earlier this month, UTG reported that the Australian festival, Soundwave Revolution had been canceled because the loss of a headliner. The festival’s promoter AJ Maddah has announce that there will be mini-fests throughout Australia. AJ has been busy at work, locking in artists to play the mini-fests.
As promised, fans will now get mini versions of Soundwave Revolution as well as smaller club shows. So far, there are around 30 bands from the original lineup. The mini-fests will feature “punk” bands only, while any metal bands will do separate shows.
AJ Maddah have been released little details on his twitter about these mini-fests.
The tickets are to be around $97.

The mini-revs will be all day events. Tickets will be somewhere between around $97

The format for Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide will be 15 to 17 bands that will play consecutively on two stages, meaning no clashes. The format for Sydney and Perth is yet to be revealed. The only date, as of right now, that will change is the Adelaide event, which will be moved to Sunday October 2 to avoid the AFL grand final. The venues may change, from the original venues.
